Food & beverage manufacturers
Ingredient orders, from sample to certificate to payment.
Samples, COAs, facility and product certifications, health certificates and free time — the parts of an ingredient order a generic tool doesn't know exist.
Built around how ingredients are bought
- Sample first. An order can start as a sample request and a quotation long before a PO exists; the PO attaches itself when the ERP creates it.
- Certifications with scope. Facility certificates (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, FDA registration, export-establishment registration) cover every product from a site; product certificates (Halal, Kosher, Organic, Non-GMO) cover the products they list. Pacifica reads the scope from the certificate and warns before an expiry falls before an ETA.
- Per-shipment documents. COA, health or phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin — required per destination port, requested from the supplier and ticked off as they arrive.
- QA in the lifecycle. Inspection and Feedback are stages: a passed lot, an issue found, a claim, a credit note.
- Price per supplier over time. Every product shows what you paid each supplier, the change against the last order and against the latest quote.
Who this is for
Procurement, planning, QA and finance teams at food and beverage manufacturers importing spices, grains, starches, sweeteners, oils, dairy ingredients and additives from suppliers in China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and beyond — and the suppliers who ship to them.
