FAQ

Questions teams ask us first.

Short answers.

Getting started

What is Pacifica?

Pacifica is an all-in-one supply chain workspace. Every order — from sample and quotation through production, shipping, customs, receipt, invoice and payment — lives on one dashboard, updated from your inbox, your ERP and carrier tracking, and visible to your suppliers and, on a magic link, to your customers.

Who is it for?

Procurement, planning and finance teams at manufacturers and importers, the suppliers and exporters who ship to them, and trading companies in between.

How long does setup take?

About 30 seconds to sign in with Microsoft or Google and choose which counterparties Pacifica may read. The last twelve months of orders then assemble themselves from what is already in your inbox. An ERP connection is a request to your IT team and typically takes one to three weeks; everything works before it lands.

Do I have to enter data?

No. Everything arrives from email, the ERP, carrier tracking and the purchase order itself. Any value can be corrected by hand, and every edit is logged. Typing is needed in exactly two places: writing a message to a supplier, and creating a brand-new order before a PO exists.

Is the first month really free?

Yes. No card up front. If you disconnect, nothing was installed and nothing is left behind.

Suppliers and customers

Do my suppliers need to log in?

No. Every notification a supplier receives is an ordinary email they can reply to, and the reply updates the order. A supplier who wants the full picture can open their page with a link, in their own language, but it is never required.

What does a supplier see?

Only their own orders with you: the order, the shipment, the documents they sent or were asked for, and payment status in plain language. Never your internal emails, other suppliers, or anyone else's prices.

What is a magic link?

A link to one order that you send to a customer (or a supplier sends to a buyer). Whoever opens it sees the stage, the ETA, the documents and the updates — on any phone, without an account. Revoke it any time.

Does it work in Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Spanish?

Yes. Each user picks their language. Messages and status lines are translated automatically with the original one tap away. Documents are never translated.

Connections and data

Which ERPs does Pacifica connect to?

SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365, read-only. If your ERP cannot be connected yet, Pacifica reads what the ERP already emails — PO confirmations, invoice receipts, remittance advice — and works from day one.

Which email systems?

Microsoft 365 / Outlook and Gmail / Google Workspace, through their official sign-in. Pacifica reads only emails exchanged with the suppliers, logistics partners and banks you name; the scope is shown plainly and can be revoked at any time. No passwords are stored.

Does it track shipments?

Yes. When a container, bill of lading or courier number appears, carrier tracking is fetched automatically; the shipment shows its last reported position, ETA, free time and customs status, and every shipment sits on one schedule.

Where does each number come from?

Every value shows its source and time. When two sources disagree, the most recent wins and both are visible. The assistant answers only from your own data and links to the email or document it used.

Teams and pricing

Can we run it under our own brand?

Yes. Larger teams can host their suppliers and customers under their own name and domain — white label. Ask about it when you book a demo.

What is out of scope?

Inventory management, a sourcing or RFQ marketplace, replacing your ERP or accounting system, and moving money.

How do I see it?

Book a demo and we'll walk through it on your own orders, or explore the guided demo on the home page with an access code.
