Calendar days; free time starts on the discharge date; the tariff is flat (real tariffs escalate, so a long overrun costs more than this shows). Combined D&D allowances: enter the total under demurrage and zero under detention, and use the return date as the pick-up date.
Pacifica reads free time per shipment from the PO or booking, counts it down from the carrier's discharge event, turns the shipment amber four days before it ends, and files the resulting charge as a cost line on the order.
